Terms
General Conditions of membership and PPR request
These Conditions govern the application for membership submitted online together with the PPR request at Garda Lake Airfield, and the payment of the related membership fee. Where the applicant is a consumer, online membership is a distance contract under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
1. Operator

2. Subject matter
Application for membership of Garda Lake Airfield S.S.D. a R.L. and related PPR (Prior Permission Required) request for the use of the airfield with ultralight aircraft (VDS, MTOW up to 600 kg), in daytime VFR, for the authorised dates only. The activity of the airfield is reserved exclusively for members; landing in a state of necessity or emergency is always allowed, without PPR and at no cost.
3. Membership fee
Membership fee EUR 10, plus EUR 10 for each night of parking; amounts include any taxes due. The total is calculated on the selected dates and is shown before the application is sent.
4. Payment of the fee (authorisation and capture)
Payment is made on the website through Stripe with manual capture: the amount is held on the card but not charged. The charge (capture) takes place only after the admission decision; if the application is not accepted, the hold is released at no cost. The authorisation has a limited technical duration (about 7 days): if it expires before the decision, the application lapses and a new one must be submitted.
5. Admission as a member
Admission is decided by the managing body of the Operator, which assesses the application at its sole discretion; only upon that decision does the applicant become a member and the PPR become effective, for the authorised dates only. After the application you will receive an email confirmation on a durable medium, with the summary and the full identity of the Operator.
6. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The membership relates to leisure activities with a specific period of performance (the dates authorised in the PPR): under art. 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code the 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply. This information is also given before the fee is paid.
7. Cancellations and refunds
If the airfield is suspended or closed for safety reasons, weather conditions or instructions of the competent Authorities, the Operator refunds the fee paid for periods not used. For cancellations by the member or no-shows, please contact the Operator: any refunds are assessed case by case.
8. Receipt and register of members
A receipt for the membership fee is issued in accordance with the applicable legal requirements: the payment receipt issued by Stripe is not a tax document. For members who are Italian citizens the tax code (codice fiscale) is collected, as required for entry in the register of members and the related accounting obligations.
9. Liability
Parking does not constitute a deposit contract (art. 1766 of the Italian Civil Code): the areas are not guarded. The Articles of Association, the Airfield regulations and the Flight operations regulations apply in full, and the member declares that they know and accept them.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has mandatory, non-derogable jurisdiction (art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo)). For relations with non-consumer parties, the Court of Verona has exclusive jurisdiction.
